Dedicated to the memory of Muffin Johnson

came to us as a rescue, her previous owner suddenly died. She was very frightened when she came. Five weeks after she came, our son came back from work to find her cowering in the front room (we think that the first owners, tret her badly, this was not the lady that died). Once she started to trust us her personality came through, she even trusted me to hold her whilst the vet nurses removed her stitches without any sedation. She rarely ventured out but liked the front room window sill. She would play on the stairs with a toy or to try to get us to go bed. She began to talk to us and tell us if she hadn't got enough water by sitting on the loo seat in the bathroom. She loved being brushed and combed and absolutely loved watching YouTube videos of Birds, mice and squirrels. She was a very brave, stoic little cat who loved nothing more than having our company. She hated being left alone. (We would ring her if we were late coming home). Her nature matched her colouring, she was beautiful, inside and out, with not a mean bone in her little body despite the rough start in life. My beautiful girl Muffin xx
